Welcome to Davis Capoeira ADB!

Capoeira combines elements of martial arts, dance, acrobatics, fighting, playing and music into a dynamic game, or jogo, played in the capoeira roda or circle/wheel. Movements include attacks and defenses, dance-like steps, and acrobatic tricks and flourishes called floreios. The exchange between the players is a game; an intersection of dancing and fighting, which is played to the rhythms of the berimbau, other instruments and traditional songs.
